Introduces students to the history of sexuality and offers a chronological and thematic survey of some of the major topics in the history of sexuality from antiquity to the so-called “Sexual Revolution” of the 1960s. Topics include definitions of sex, gender, and sexuality; sexual identities,
communities, desires, and behaviours; relationships between sexual discourses and practices; and the various intersections between sexuality and class, gender, religion, age, ethnicity, and race (Online Learning Course).
